300g Sago
250-280g Caster sugar(more or less depends how sweet you need)
5pcs Pandan leaves
50g water
250g White grated coconut
1/8tsp Salt
*As I only have 120g sago, all ingredients has been cut down*
Method:
- Blend 3pcs pandan leaves by using blender
- Rinse and soak sago in pandan juices for 30mins. Drain well
- Boil sugar, pandan leaves and water together
- Mix sago and sugar syrup together. Stir well
- Grease mould with oil
- Pour into mould and steam for 30mins and leave cool
- Steam white grated coconut with 1/8tsp salt for 10mins
- Cut cooked sago with a knife/plastic cutter(grease with oil) into small pieces and coat with white grated
coconut
If too watery, chill it in refrigerator for an hour before cut
